We can for the most part return an edited article within seven to ten working days. Translation takes longer. When we receive a request, we always reply with a time and price estimate. If you are in a hurry, you can phone or email to find out if we can do the work within your timeframe. If your need for editing or translation is further ahead in time, it is good if you can book dates in advance.

Send us the article and you will receive a time and price estimate. The price for language editing is SEK 550 per hour (excluding VAT) and editing is carried out at a rate of 600–1000 words per hour, depending on the type of text and the level of the language. We always state a maximum price, and if the work goes faster than we estimated, the final price will be lower. For translation we always ask to see the text before giving a quote, as it can vary greatly depending on word count, type of text and so on.

When a text is edited, the editor uses Word's Track Changes function so that the author can see what has been changed and what suggestions have been added. The editor also uses the comments function to point out ambiguities, request clarifications or offer alternatives.

It is perfectly fine to follow up with questions or clarifications to check with the editor or translator.
